I was just reading Mr Blasberg’s Best-Dressed List: New York Fashion Week Edition, (it’s a goody!) when I saw a photo of Gia Copolla in Proenza Schouler.

While she looks very elegant, it’s not something that I would likely wear (lovely, but not quite me), however when I read the copy that accompanied the picture - her design aesthetic made perfect sense ………

Gia Coppola is exactly the sort of girl that one would expect to be wearing Proenza Schouler: She comes from an artistic pedigree, has an aesthetic all her own, oozes fabulous personal style and looks great in almost anything. But more important, she’s the sweetest little thing. here she is at Proenza Schouler’s afterparty wearing a bright dress from the designer. Super stylish and she sends handwritten thank you notes? I think I’m in love.

She sounds so super nice, dresses divinely and sends handwritten thank you notes …….. What’s not to love?
