A friend lent me the book by Carole Radziwell titled, ‘What Remains’ about her life with her late husband, Anthony Radziwell and their relationship with his best friend and cousin, John Kennedy Jnr and his wife Carolyn Besette Kennedy.
Anthony passed away from cancer approximately 3 weeks after John and Carolyn’s untimely death.
To say that the story was tragic, is an understatement.
Understandably, the book got me thinking about John and Carolyn - so I pulled out an old Vanity Fair I had, which had an article about Carolyn titled, ‘The Private Princess’ and read it again.
However, what struck me the most were the timelessness of the photographs. They haven’t dated at all. Taken by Bruce Webber, they show Carolyn at her best - young, vibrant and with the rest of her life ahead of her.
