Late last year, Oscar de la Renta introduced a new perfumed called, ‘Live in Love’. What a gorgeous name!
It was inspired by Mr de la Renta’s passion for life and the firm belief that every day, not just special occasions, should be a celebration.
The various flowers in his gardens inspired the fragrance, with top notes of hyacinth, galbanum, bergamot, lily of the valley and orchid; middle notes of jasmine, African orange and rose with base notes of sandalwood and Virginia cedar and woodsy notes of amber and must. By all accounts it’s a truly lovely fragrance which looks like the perfect combination of old-world, yet modern and sophisticated. I can’t wait to try it as I have a feeling it may just become my new favourite fragrance!
